Terms, Revisions and Refund Policy

Nature of the services
Mastermind PhD provides academic support and consulting to master’s and PhD students: statistical analysis, research-proposal development and review, literature-review summaries, editing and proofreading, formatting to the university template, academic translation, similarity checks and paraphrasing, publication support and defense coaching. Clients are responsible for following their university’s rules on the use of academic support.
Quote and agreement
- Every engagement starts with a price quote that states the scope, deliverables, timeline and price, usually sent within one working hour of receiving the files.
- Before work starts, the client is told the assigned specialist’s field and academic degree, and communication with the specialist takes place in a scheduled meeting.
- No work starts and no payment is collected before the client approves the quote.
Payment
80% of the quoted price is paid on agreement and 20% after the supervisor approves the delivered work. Bank transfers and the electronic payment methods listed in the quote are accepted, and a receipt is issued for every payment.
Delivery and timelines
Timelines are set in the quote. Every file is delivered with a Turnitin report and an AI-detection check, and analysis services include the original SPSS or STATA files and the syntax file. Any delay on our side is communicated immediately together with the new date.
Revisions
Revisions based on supervisor feedback are free until the supervisor approves the work, within 30% of the volume of the chapter or deliverable concerned. Revisions beyond that limit, or changes to the agreed scope (for example a new topic, a different methodology or additional hypotheses), are priced in a new quote before they are carried out.
Refund policy
- Before work starts: the amount paid is refunded in full within 7 working days.
- After work starts and before delivery: the amount is refunded minus the value of the documented completed part.
- If we cannot deliver the agreed scope: the part not delivered is refunded in full.
- After delivery: no refund; the free-revision policy above applies.
Confidentiality and files
Client files are confidential, seen only by the assigned specialist and the coordination team, never reused in other work and never published. Files are deleted 6 months after delivery or on the client’s request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Client responsibilities
- Provide the files, data and university requirements (formatting guide, accepted similarity percentage, proposal template) at the start.
- Answer the specialist’s questions and review deliverables within reasonable time.
- Share the supervisor’s feedback in full and in writing so revisions can be carried out.
Limitation of liability
We commit to the quality of the deliverables and their conformity to the quoted scope and the agreed academic standards. We do not guarantee the decisions of examination committees, journals or academic institutions, which are outside our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt; disputes are first resolved amicably through direct communication.
